A Smart Health Resolution for 2013…..

healthywordsIt’s a very simple concept for why resolutions don’t work. When people make resolutions they make an external declaration to the world to have what they desire. Then the next step they take is external, then another external step and maybe a few more external steps. What they don’t realize is that change works internally first and then expresses itself externally. As long as people attempt to make changes in their life with an external approach they will always fall short of long term results.

If you want to create results that last, you must first make a decision and confirm it internally with emotion. Then you must take action by changing your internal programming (thoughts, beliefs, values, paradigms, patterns, etc.) You must become the person who has the results you desire. You focus on your “being” not the “doing”. Once you become the person who has the results you desire, you will do the things they do and have what they have.

I can’t control every aspect of my life, however, I can trust that I am always safe and taken care of.

For goal setting you would want to first make a decision, release it to the Universe then focus on being open and ready to receive. The way that you create the space to receive is by living an extraordinary life. Who would you be if you already had the goals you desired? How would you think, feel and act? When you move through life this way your goals come to you so quickly you may not even notice because you are already living a phenomenal life.

So my “Resolution” for 2013 is, “I can’t control every aspect of my life, however, I can trust that I am always safe and taken care of.”
