Over 6,500 Students From Maryland Participate in ACES
In Maryland, we had Governor Ehrlich declare May 4th as Project ACES day. We used web-based sign-up and doubled our participation from 3000 kids to 6500. Many of the kids were in day care centers, and several elementary schools let specially selected 5th graders lead the exercise for the younger students. We give an ACES trophy to each school center, an ACES certificate to each teacher, and an ACES membership card to each student.
Len, thanks again for leading this worldwide movement! Next year,
we'll shoot for 10,000 again!
Best Regards,
Mieka Smart, State Coordinator
